Lo scorso 14 febbraio ho realizzato un evento per il Rotary Club di Bari, location la storica “Villa Romanazzi Carducci”. La manifestazione, “Amore e Moda”, ha celebrato la festa di San Valentino attraverso la presentazione del mio libro “Il Macabro e il Grottesco nella Moda e nel Costume” ed Progedit, insieme a una sfilata di abiti d’epoca provenienti dal mio archivio “Lerario Lapadula“. Durante il reading dal testo, incentrato sul ruolo di personaggi storici significativi per l’avvento di nuove tendenze, hanno sfilato abiti a partire dagli anni ’20 per giungere ai recenti 2000, alcuni già fotografati e inseriti nel volume. Le immagini sono di Saverio Damiani Foto Art. Ringrazio per l’aiuto il mio collega e stilista Vito Antonio Lerario e la nostra collaboratrice Carlotta Labombarda. Last February 14th I made an event for the Rotary Club of Bari, location the beautiful historical “Villa Romanazzi Carducci”. The event, “Love and Fashion”, celebrated Valentine’s Day through the presentation of my book “The Macabre and the Grotesque in Fashion and Costume”, along with a parade of period dresses from my archive “Lerario Lapadula”. During the reading from my text, focusing on the role of significant historical figures for the advent of new trends, models paraded dresses from the ’20s to reach the recent 2000, some already photographed and included in the volume.
