Il mio libro allo Sporting Club | Fashion Show from my book

È stata splendida la serata trascorsa allo Sporting Club di Trani il 4 febbraio scorso. L’evento ha visto la presentazione del mio libro “Il Macabro il Grottesco nella Moda nel Costume“, attraverso uno scambio di domande e risposte tra me l’organizzatrice del reading la dottoressa Maria Grazia Filisio. Ho fatto sfilare la mia amica, modella e atleta Valentina Abattantuono che ha esibito quattro rari abiti d’epoca provenienti dal mio archivio “Lerario Lapadula Fashion Archives“. Un quinto abito, di epoca vittoriana, era esposto sul palco al mio fianco, nell’elegante salone. Il prossimo appuntamento è previsto per la sera del 14 febbraio, San Valentino, presso la storica “Villa Romanazzi Carducci”, il tema è dedicato all’amore e alla moda, naturalmente.

What a great night at the Sporting Club in Trani on February 4th . The event saw the presentation of my book “The Macabre the Grotesque in Fashion and Costume”, through an exchange of questions and answers between me the organizer of the reading Dr. Maria Grazia Filisio. I had my friend, model athlete Valentina Abattantuono, who modeled four rare period dresses from my archive “Lerario Lapadula Fashion Archives“. A fifth dress, from the Victorian era, was displayed on the stage at my side, in the elegant salon. The next appointment is scheduled for the evening of February 14, Valentine’s Day, at the historic “Villa Romanazzi Carducci”, the theme is dedicated to love and fashion, of course.
